Voicemail going to other account phone

Hi all - suddenly unanswered calls on my iPhone 6 are being routed to my daughter's iPhone 6, saying The User has not set up a Voice Mail (because my daughter did not set up hers). My voice mail has worked fine for years until now. Typically it is forwarded to a Google number that sends an email transcription. Worked flawlessly for many years but now having issues overall with my daughter's phone interacting with mine - getting her messages, etc.

We do share the same Apple ID, so it seems like step one is to get her own, but not even sure how to do that. Could also have to do with Cloud....?

Any thoughts or suggestions welcome. Thank you!

You need to get her a separate Apple ID. I would also set up Family sharing.

On her phone,

There may be some data loss, but you can minimize it. If syncing photos with iCloud, ensure Optimization is turned off in Settings/Your Name/iCloud/Photos and/or in Photos/Preferences/iCloud. Then make sure full resolution photos are on the device/computer. When signing out of iCloud, if asked whether you want to retain data, choose yes. Messages conversations will be lost if they are addressed to the ID. See the article below for other places that the old ID should be removed. See Winston Churchill's response in the below discussion.
