Is this a scam?

I received a call from a 1(800) number stating my iCloud has been compromised and to not use any banking data...to follow the commands in order to correct the problem. I disconnected. Is this a scam?

It is indeed a scam. Hanging up, is the correct course of action.

Yes, it is a scam. You did well in hanging up.

Apple will never call you unless you specifically requested a call from them as one of the support options.
