Hey so I recently switched to Android and I'm only receiving some text from iPhone users. What do I have to do to receive all texts from iphones. I still have my old iPhone and was told to turn off iMessage or delete my apple Id which has my emails,music, and pictures still on it.

If you have your old one sign out of iCloud, iMessage and FaceTime.
For some reason it's said my number isn't connected to iPhone. My screen on the iPhone is broken so I'm gunna have to figure a way to mirror it to a tv and try it that way. But thank you that's a start
Will this delete anything from my apple account? Or just those settings?
Just those settings. It is doing the same thing you can do on your iPhone if it is still active, just through Apple's servers via another route.
