How do I disable Mail split screen on MacBook Pro 2015? It just suddenly appeared.

split screen now when email is opened Just did the new update on out iMac & now our mail shows a split screen; like the old "preview pane" in Outlook. I don't like the mail being opened when I open the program because when you use to use a "preview pane" it allowed for the email to be opened and therefore if a virus was there you just let it out. I'd like to go back and just see my mailboxes & who/what & subject of the emails I received. Turning the program back to the "old way."

MAIL Question ? Switching From A Full Screen View; How Please ? Hello, Using the MAIL App that came with my iMac. (Mojave) Like it, and am quite satisfied with it, but it does have its "quirks". Now and then, the MAIL screen takes up the entire Mac screen. How do I get it back to something reasonable, and re-sizable ? Is there a Key that switches to full-mode, and back again ? Thanks, Bob

You don't disable it, you just don't use it.
