How can I restore an old iPhone?

Connect to a computer that is running the latest version of iTunes and Restore it in iTunes. You will have to have enough battery charge for the iPhone to come on.

What do you mean by 2 different versions of iTunes?
What type of computer are you using? What version of iTunes did you download and install and where did you get it from?
What version OS is on your computer?
What happens when it doesn't work? Any messages? How old is this iPhone and how long was it that it was not used?
