While syncing my iPad to a newer one, I seemed to have lost my Notes. They were supposedly backed up to my gmail and iCloud account but are nowhere to be found, not even a recently deleted folder is in sight. Is there anyway to recover them? Ithas been less than 30 days since syncing took place.
Notes was and is synced to both accounts however note file state 0 (zero) notes in both. It seems they just disappeared some way, some how. Do you know if there is a software for restoring them or could they be hidden somewhere in icloud database?

Can you please elaborate when you say “Notes was and is synced to both accounts”? What kind of accounts are they? Were one of these services disabled? Was another service enabled which was then disabled? Did you recently remove a mail account on iPad, such as a Yahoo, Google, Exchange, etc..?
When I synced info from old iPad to newer one-I had some notes synced to gmail and some to icloud-note files in both accounts have disappeared as well as on ipads. I checked to see if notes had passed onto newer iPad, and they had so I clicked delete on the popup when I was offered an option to delete, I clicked yes. So a few days later when I went to type a new note, I noticed all had disappeared. None on Notes, none in Gmail and no notes in Icloud folder. Even though I had them backed up to those accounts, all have been deleted. I guess I shouldn't have done it manually, probably should have reset it to factory mode. I think it was my mistake, but I still thought that someway they could be restored.
What popup did you respond to to delete notes? If you have notes turned on in the cloud, if you delete them on one device, they will delete on ALL devices. Backups aren't archival. They are live, meaning anything you sync to the cloud is there as long as it's not deleted on any of your devices.

You mentioned that you were using iCloud and Gmail to host your notes. Is Notes enabled for both iCloud and your Google account in Settings -> Accounts & Passwords?

Have you checked the “Recently Deleted” folder in Notes on either one of your iPads?

There is no recently deleted folder in sight, not in Notes nor ICloud.
