I used the support desk to get a repair. As my phone is out of warranty they charged £50 and sent me a freepost box. I was slow to send it back because I didn't want to be without my phone for 6 days without a temporary replacement. They then told me my repair has been cancelled. This is fine as long as I get the money back. Anyone with experience of this?

Call the support desk back and ask them directly. That will give you a definitive answer. They may also be able to reinstate the service order if you do want to proceed with it.
