It may be possible to recover some erased ones, but you must quit using the Computer immediately, because the OS will think it can write to those freed blocks on the disk.

Either boot this one in Target mode...

BUT, every second you use that Mac the chances will be slimmer. 

What happened to cause them to be deleted? A little bit more info about what you were doing before they disappeared (like maybe updating to another OS version or system crashed in the middle of something or ???) Is anything else missing, like photos or mail or other files, or just the videos? Did you have your video's stored on an external/different disk that might be having problems or ??? Is this disk currently mounted? More info please...
