Its really strange whatsapp icon disappears from screen and i can only access it by search bar and when i went i checked in allowed app it ticked allow all apps so this mean it show all the apps but when i clicked 12+ whatsapp icon started to show on the screen . either its a bug or apple wanted it this way anyone have this issue
Thats a bug. Delete WhatsApp and re-download it. Since you can't delete it from the home screen, go into Settings>General>iPhone Storage. Scroll down to WhatsApp and tap on it, and there should be a "delete" button.
