How can I transfer my contacts from a Samsung to a iPhone

I just got the new iPhone XR and I can not transfer my contacts how can I?

Have you tried this-->Move from Android to iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Another option is sync your contacts to gmail on your android, then add gmail contacts to your iPhone in Settings/Passwords & Accounts.
