itunes update denied with latest windows update? my desktop PC Windows Pro version 1903 os build 18362.295 and still itunes wants updated windows

Thanks for that info and for choosing the Apple Support Communities. If I understand correctly, you are unable to update iTunes as it asks for a Windows update but you believe you have the latest Windows 10 update on your computer. To help with this, please follow the relevant steps in this Apple resource, including making sure you have installed iTunes from the Microsoft Store app and that you have this update from Microsoft installed:
August 30, 2019—KB4512941 (OS Build 18362.329)
