New MacBook Pro 2019 is not charging to 100%

My brand new MacBook Pro 2019, with the original Apple power cord, is only charging to 96% no matter how long I leave it plugged in. Is anyone else having this issue? Is there a fix?

It's not an issue.

Your Mac will initiate a charge cycle when the battery falls below about 90 percent, and charge until nearly full, then trickle charge beyond that. Once you have some use on it, it is unlikely to show a recharge to exactly 100 percent, and that is normal.

If you are now at 96 precent, it will take additional discharging to initiate a charge cycle. Your battery can do a finite number of charge cycles, so it is important not to start a new charge cycle until it can do a lot of good.
