App Store not using my credit balance - charges my credit card instead
I have a a credit on my iTunes account from some gift cards, but my purchase are still be charged to my credit card and not using the credit balance. Any ideas?

It should automatically use the account's balance, if the balance is up-to-date and correct (and if not gifting) contact iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/ww (click on your country's flag, the country where you live, and which is therefore the country on the account ; click on Contact Support towards the top right ; click on Get Help under 'Talk To Us’)

Yes it should happen automatically, but it isn't. And the only way to contact support is via email....
Apple could use some improvement in the support arena for sure....
Contact methods are likely to vary by country and topic, chat and phone are also potentially possible.
