K - 12 Film

I just bought Melanie Martinez's new album 'K - 12', but I bought the version of the album that comes with the film. For some reason, the film just will not download. Any help?

That makes no sense. How did I get it on iTunes through Apple Music if it wasn’t from Apple?

Off-the-Shelf Purchase:

If it were purchased off-the-shelf, them often enough, it comes with keys to download items.

If it went through iTunes, then it went through iTunes.

So, contact Apple Support and ask to speak to the Apple Store Staff, Request a new download. Sometimes, connections are lost, and then purchased items and their downloads do not go through 100%.

In all, contact Apple Support. They’ll know what’s going on.

Contact the Film Studio:

If these came with the purchase of a movie, they most likely did not come from Apple. So, track down the site that provided these to you (with a key?). See what assistance they can offer you with re-downloading these items.

Yes it was purchased on iTunes. Through Apple Music. But now the album + film isn’t available.

A Couple Thoughts:

  • Removed from the iTunes Store:

As to when you purchased this item, it may have been removed from the iTunes Store. Simply put, resulting in it just becoming no longer available.

It could be just the next day after a item is purchased that it becomes deleted from the Apple Store. Who knows? That’s just the way it is :(

  • Incorrect Album:

As for not being able to download this music, what you are looking at on the iTunes Store may be no more different than a different Album. That would be why it is non-downloadable: a different album — one that was never purchased.

So, by All Means...

Contact Apple Support to solve this. They’ll know what’s going on.

Something similar is happening to me, last week I bought the album with the film and when i play the film it stops at the 1hr 7 minutes ish mark and starts to stutter, I called Apple and they told me that for some reason K-12 the film isn't compatible with windows and is only supposed to work on iOS and Mac which i find very weird because i've never heard of such a thing.

I think I figured it out the same thing happened to me when I went to watch the video today it seems that they made it for purchase only when you buy the album so you have to physically go to the iTunes Store and purchase the album that has the movie at the bottom otherwise you’re not gonna be able to play it outside of YouTube. It’s like the song Maria I’m drunk by Travis Scott and Justin Bieber you couldn’t listen to the song on Apple Music unless you purchase the whole album
