I'm using Numbers V 5.1, and a multi-sheet workbook that I've been using for years, has on one of the sheets, the first 20 rows which will not display. Under Table, the 'Unhide Rows' option is greyed out. I read that someone said that filters might affect this option, but there are no filters on this sheet. Can anyone help?

In Numbers, each of our tables is on a sheet and can be dragged around on that sheet. If your table has been dragged upward off the sheet it will display as you describe.
Simply grab the 'bullseye' in the upper left corner of your table and drag it down. You should be good.

Another tip:
Menu > Numbers > Preferences > Rulers
Tick all boxes
Also, Menu > View > Show Rulers is useful sometimes
You can drag a Guide from a ruler. Guides do not print, and you can easily remove them.

Thanks so much! You are both lifesavers! I probably shouldn't be surprised by all the basic things I don't know about Numbers. I can just say that it's never happened before and to get answers back so quickly was a miracle. Thanks Again!

Just a guess, but was the table accidentally dragged into the top or left margin (i.e. off the page)?
Click on the table and drag it by the "bullseye" back onto the page.
