iPad WiFi Cannot Connect to Hilton Garden Inn network

Need a little more information such as: How do you have to log on? Enter pass word? Do you see the network? Do you get an error message?

Did you call the support number for the hotel's wireless provider? They can usually help.

Presuming that they are using a Cisco based setup that prompts you for a username/password combination the first time you open your browser there is an issue if Safari's auto fill is on. Disable that from Settings and you'll be able to connect.

Tonite I am at the Westin Mission Hills in Rancho Mirage and can not get on the hotel wifi even with autofil off. None of my 3G carriers (TMobile, Verizon or ATT) will work at this hotel so had to try the wireless.

No problem as my Droid and my laptop work with the wifi just fine.

I know that many of the Apple aficionados feel that the world should realign itself to suit Steve Jobs, but the fact is that is not going to happen. Jobs is still a bit player in the business world and although getting stronger, I don't expect we can reliably expect the IPAD to work for road warriors in an WiFi only configuration.

I'm actually pleasantly surprised if I'm out and about with the iPad and try to connect to WIFI, never have problems with the iPhone connecting. That's the frustrating part iPad connecting is hit or miss, iPhone is rock solid for me. As an example our church has WIFI, iPad won't connect no matter what I do, iPhone connects every time.
