Can I delete javascript files from my MAC OS X 10.13.6

I have an awful lot of .js files and I'm not sure if I need them or if I can delete them. I am using MAC OS X 10.13.6 with a Google Browser and I am synced via google to my Ipad IOS 11.4 . Any help on this would be appreciated. I purchased this mac in late 2009. I can't update any further than High Sierra just fyi

I went to my IMAC under Devices in the left column of Finder, the I searched for .js files and a bunch came up from 2/23/19 and I hit Get Information and this is an example of how they all look they open in Google Chrome but are all related to pictures.

FB should store images on their own servers, not on your computer. However, these may be here to facilitate calling up these images when you use FB. I don't use FB so I can't verify their purpose. Sorry!

One thing you can try is to move these files to another location temporarily. Access FB and see if you have any issues doing so. You can then always move them back to their original location. The other option is to open any of these in a script editor to see what they do ... but this would require that you are familiar with javascript.
