I received an automated call telling me that my I cloud account wasn’t secure. Does apple call when your account is insecure?

Does apple normally call from an 800 number which is automated. Which tells you that your I-cloud is not secure and not to shop on your phone.

Apple never calls you and you call Apple. Its a scam and hang up right away.
