iOS 12.4.1 updates were installed last night. Now none of my apps work. What's going on?

What happened to my iPhone 6? iOS 12.4.1 updated it last night and now none of my apps will load?

Hi dbain6139,

Thank you for posting in the Apple Support Communities. It sounds like apps aren’t responding after your iPhone was updated. I’d love to help, and recommend that you follow each of these steps: If an app unexpectedly quits, stops responding, or won’t open

I hope this helps get you started. Kind regards.

It turns out that "something" happened during the update to iOS12.1.4

The connection between the cell phone Apps and my router was "broken".

The next morning all devices other than the cell phone were still connected to the internet and worked without any problems.

As I recall, the cell phone worked ok also.

After I rebooted the router, the phone and Apps worked fine.
