iPad stuck on apple logo

I updated my daughters iPad and it’s been stuck on the apple logo and not doing anything. I’ve tried the home button and on button at the same time and the iPad still not doing anything

You said you tried the hold the home and power buttons at the same time. Did you keep holding them for at least 10 seconds?
