iphone5 sound issues

When the i phone5 is called it vibrates but no ringer sound.

You may need to turn your ringer switch on. This can be found at the top of the left of your device above the volume buttons. Also try turning the volume up on your device. When you do this a bell should appear, not a speaker. if a speaker appears you are changing the audio volume not the ringer volume.

Hi, if you see the speaker your best option will be to head into the settings app and tap 'Sound and haptics' from here you can adjust the 'Ringer and alerts' volume slider. This will be the volume your phone rings at when someone makes a call to you or you receive a notification.


If you would like to use the volume buttons in the future, simply turn on the 'Change with buttons' option underneath the volume slider.
