Any issues with motherboard on iPhone 8

I have had issues with my iPhone 8 including No Service and error message saying can’t make calls or texts until update. No update available. Took to store told it’s a common issue in 7s but not in 8s and because it isn’t recognized the cost is 350ish. Just wondering if others have had these issues. Mind you I have done all hacks you can find online.

Typically a Sprint store is an independent shop, licensed by Sprint to sell their services. They may or may not be accredited by Apple to perform repair services unless you check to see if they are actually listed as an Apple Authorized Service Provider (AASP) ... so, I'm just saying to be suspect as to their comments. I'm not saying that there isn't anything wrong with your phone, hardware or software-wise ... and this could potentially be a manufacturing defect. However, as you know, it only comes with a one-year limited warranty from Apple and you would have had to purchase the extended AppleCare+ plan to go beyond that to reduce any repair costs.

So, with all that said, did you try restoring your phone yet. You only mentioned that you tried "all hacks" and we can't "read minds."

I took it to a sprint store. The guy checked sims card no sign of corrosion phone didn’t recognize the removing or install of the sims card and so then the guy said this motherboard issue was common in the 7s but not been reported in 8s so until Apple recognizes it as an common issue they won’t fix free of charge. Not under warranty cost approx 350.

Well do you work for Apple? Cause your attitude is awful! Not sure if AASP I’ll check the list or whatever closest Apple store is 1.5 hours away and I wouldn’t want you to have to read my mind but yes actually I did reboot as I mentioned in earlier posts I reset entire phone. I mentioned this because there maybe others who have had an issue with this same problem so I mean you don’t seem to have the issue so does this really pertain to you.

No, I do not. I just volunteer here to try to help out. Not sure why you feel that way, but it wasn't my intention to be rude. My goal was only to offer that you may have not gotten the "best advice" from a store that would be happy to sell you another phone ... and yes, I'm sure if others have this exact or similar issue, they will chime in. Good luck!
