Safari asks to open an app and it takes me to App Store
I want safari to just open the app. For instance Reddit. It asks to open the app then takes me to App Store or it will take me to reddit but to the front page and not search results.

Hello!
Usually which ever web browser you are using will do this when you do not have the app installed on your device. I would recommend that you check if the apps you are trying to open are installed.
If you are still having issues come back and let us know!
Thanks for the reply but not having the app is something that would make more sense.
The link I clicked on was a Reddit post. I was on my iPad. Latest software. When I clicked I got the post in Safari, below I had a choice to view in Chrome (makes no sense since I’m using safari) or go to Reddit. Up top it asks if I want to use the Reddit app. If I view as a web page it’s fine. I choose Reddit then it takes me to the store, if I choose to open in Reddit app it will open the app on the front page so I would then have to search again within the app.
Interesting. This could be an issue with the reddit site and the reddit application. It may be that the information is not being transferred when you click the link to open in the app. This might be something that the people over at reddit might have to take a look at.
