The YouTube app does not launch on iPhone 5 after the last update of the app of September 9, 2019.

One standard way to deal with 3rd party apps, is delete them and re-install and test.
Note: YouTube is not an Apple product, best you consult the app developer on their website/forum.
This problem was not only mine.
Today there was a YouTube update and the problem was fixed.
Now everything is OK.

@chuan nevertheless it's a third party app, Apple is a brand and suddenly its product stop supporting a app which is most popular it's a shame
