AW 4 - Low Power Mode Workout with BLE HR Strap - not showing HR Data on "Run"

Okay - a rather specific question but one which is very frustrating to me.

I want to use an external HR Monitor (TICKR) to record my HR values during my runs. I live in a very hilly area and the AW HR sensor doesn't do a great job recording my data, and when I run I rely on the HR data that is displayed to estimate my work power.

So - I'm using my TICKR strap. I can connect it to the watch. And I know to get the HR data from the strap during the workout, I need to enabled "Low Power" mode on the watch via the phone app.

However - when the Workout "Run" app is running, there is no HR data visible. As opposed to when the watch is in normal mode (no Low Power) I can see the HR data.

After the run, I can see that the data was recorded in the "activity" app (and other areas).

But not having the HR data displayed *while* running is a non-starter for me.

Am I doing something wrong?

There might be a possibility that I'm wrong on the Low Power thing even with a BLE strap connected. Might it be possible that the TICKR is indeed being used *over* the internal HR sensor when connected and the workout app is running?
