forgot password

im trying to facotory resest my iphone 7 but everytime i hook it up to itunes it starts the process but then my iphone turns back on and goes to the the lockscreen

Are you following all the steps provided in this support guide?:--> If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support

(at section "Remove your passcode", make many attempts using the instructions related to you 7+ model)
