My airpods keep blinking orange and wont connect or reset or do anything!!!!!!!

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities! I understand that your AirPods won't connect, you're unable to reset them, and the LED flashes amber. It's important that you're able to use your AirPods when you want. I would be happy to help provide steps to take next.


Have you previously used more than one generation of AirPods? If so, we'll want to make sure that both of the AirPods you're trying to connect are from the same generation:


Identify your AirPods - Apple Support


If the AirPods are from the same generation, try cleaning the AirPods and charging case, then leaving them in the case untouched and plugged in to charge for at least 20 minutes. After that, set them up again:



If there's no change after trying those steps, I suggest reaching out to Apple Support using the link below:

hello and thank you for replying , i tried everything and it didn't work i looked a lot on youtube and websites and found a thousands of users with the same problem and most of them couldn't fix the problem and say that is a common problem and the only way you is getting a Compensation “new airpods” , i bought them like 7 months ago and since day 1 the problems started with disconnecting to charging problems and i really manage to clear the case and the pods every day!!!so please please i don’t want anything beside of a solution I've been using apple products since iphone 4 and never faced a problem but with the airpods i was really upset i’m sorry to say that but please give me a solution i really trust this company and support it and i wish from you to understand me and take my problem seriously!!!!:(thank you.
