Hi, what do I select as a carrier if XFinity Mobile is not listed under the carriers for the iPhone upgrade process? XFinity Mobile is technically Verizon network but if I select Verizon I'm prompted to enter a pin code which is for verizon customers not XFinity Mobile cusotmers. Help?

Do it directly with Xfinity. That is how I got my current iPhone XS. They also handled my trade in of my previous non-Xfinity phone. You can go to your local store or do it online. You can "pre-register" now to pre-order Friday. I pre-ordered my XS when they were released on got mine was delivered on the release date. See: https://www.xfinity.com/mobile/

I went into the XFinity Store in San Mateo back in April because I was done with ATT $120 for just my line. They told me that they prefer people do not upgrade devices through XFINITY but through Apple, they prefer to be a carrier not provide devices. So I signed on with them and they switched out my SIM and account there in the store.
But you can’t do the upgrade program if you are on xfinity.

which indicates that it is limited to carriers that don't include Xfinity.
How did you move your current phone to Xfinity while on the Upgrade Program?
I’m guessing now that they lied to sign me on and now I’m screwed with my Apple upgrade plan. I was just on the phone with Apple and they were investigating for me until we suddenly were disconnected. I’ll try back tomorrow. I’ll wrote you back let you know what’s up. Thanks for the update. I got mine through Xfinity when the iPhone XS was released. The local store here was definitely interested in selling phones. My wife and I are both on the same plan and we save enough on the cellular plan charges compared to what we had been paying to AT&T that it would pay for 1 new phone every year or 1 for both of us every other year. We don't upgrade that often but could with the savings.
Darn it. It’s ok, I’m going to go on Verizon next year. Thank you for responding, appreciate it. I love my current iPhone the Xs Max. I was hoping for USB-c cord and 5G with these new models but that didn’t roll out this time. I would never use the photo features to their capacity of the Pro, don’t like it. Gonna hold on to my current iPhone for now.
