I will be in Los Angeles from 21st till 28th of September 2019 and i am thinking of pre-ordering the new iPhone 11 Pro Max and to buy it during our vacation in Los Angeles as it's much cheaper for me. The matter is that I am a european union citizen and I don't know if the phone is gonna work in Europe or not. I can select to be unlocked (free sim) but is there anybody here to confirm me that it's gonna work in europe?

You can probably buy one that will work, but the warranty is not international.
If it needs service, you would have to physically bring it back to the US or send it to someone in the US to take it in for service.
Apple will not accept international shipments and it's likely you will not be able to get it serviced at all in Europe.
You won't be able to pre-order in the US unless you have a US address and credit card.
KiltedTim is correct. If it’s unlocked it will work but note that your one-year warranty is only valid in the US. If there is something wrong with the phone and it’s covered under warranty you’ll have to fly back into the US to make use of your warranty. Also you can’t pre-order unless you’ll live in the US and have an US credit card.
Thank you for your reply. The only think i want to know is if it works in europe. I dont care for the warranty or the service. Can i pick the phone up from an apple's store? Can I choose one during pre-ordering process?
I am afraid that if I wait until that date, there will not be any available phone in the stores and I will be in Los Angeles till 28th of September. Do you think that i will find without pre ordering?

Can a friend of mine buy it for me who lives in US? But she doesnt have credit card. Only debit card.
You friend needs to ask if Apple takes debit cards. Why don’t you wait until the September 20th when they are released? From then on you can buy them without the pre-order process.
