Power Outage Messed Up Apple TV 4K
I'm going to preface this with I've never had to ask question like this on online forums because 99% of problems can usually be solved by a quick google search. But whatever the heck happened here has me completely baffled. I don't particularly want to call support because I don't know if I can accurately describe what I'm seeing on the screen in words (which is why I will add an image).
Anyways, like the title says, this happened immediately following a power outage that lasted for maybe 30-40 seconds (at ~8:40am September 11, 2019). I was in the middle of watching videos on the youtube app when it happened. The Tv information: [LG] webOS TV EF9500. When the power comes back on and the tv automatically connects to the apple tv... well... I'll just show you what the screen looks like:
It's also flashing as well.
I've tried: unplugging the hdmi on both ends, unplugging the power, restarting the apple tv with the remote, I even tried using a different hdmi cable. nothing.
The tv works fine. I can connect to the game consoles and everything is fine. It has to be something with the apple tv right?
I realize it probably needs to be taken in (which I am dreading), but has anything this weird happened to anyone else??? I'm just at a loss.
(also I realize the image is like the home screen, showing some recently viewed stuff, you can seen culture shock from the hulu into the dark anthology)
edit: btw it still technically responding, I can hear it moving around on the menu but the image is still that flashing disaster.
