Student music subscription

I have been charged full price for Apple Music subscription for months and months because it would never work when I signed up for the student discount. It worked for awhile, but then when I had to reverify there was a glitch and it’s cost me a lot of money. I finally got it working today, but is there a way to get refunded since I have been a student the whole time?
