My macbook charger is charging but is not lighting.

Hey guys. My macbook charger (Magsafe 2 Power adapter) is charging but the small indicator light was not lighting. I made sure that the port was clean and I also made sure that the charger was placed securely on the power outlet. Aside from that, the metal teeth on the charger doesn't seem bent or broken either. So I was wondering what caused this (is it a sign that I need to replace my charger?) and if there's a way to make the charger light up again. Do you guys know? Thanks.

I've seen faulty I/O Boards and I/O Cables cause this issue. Take your laptop to Apple and an Apple Authorized Service Provider. Make sure to take your power adapter as well so it can be examined as well.
