Just be aware there may be warranty issues.
A GPS only model will work anywhere in the world, as it depends on the paired iPhone for its radios.
A Cellular version may or may not work depending on which model is sold in Singapore vs india, and whether or not your friend uses a carrier that supports the Apple Watch.
