How do I connect an iPad Pro to a wireless printer

Is this printer AirPrint-enabled? It would need to be to be able to print to it from an iOS device.
Not sure what to tell you. I went Airprint long ago. You can check the App Store to see if your printer has an app for the printer. Many of the major printer manufacturers do. Otherwise, Airprint printers are so inexpensive these days that you may want to consider getting one.
See if there is a printer app for your printer in the App Store.
Actually that doesn’t help because my printer is a few years old and not on air drop list. I have been using WiFi print but that isn’t working on new iOS software on my iPad which we just updated. So because of apple update to iPad software I now need to buy a new printer.???? The help link didn’t show WiFi solution for iPad. Only Mac.
