If I have scratches would it affect my full trade in value?

I have a iPhone XS Max and have bunch of scratches around the edge but nothing major and function perfectly fine. Do I still get the 600 dollar trade in value or nah??

We're not Apple. We're just users. Only Apple can determine if the scratches will impact trade value. You'll have to have Apple see the phone and give you an answer. That said if you go to Apple.com and choose trade in, this is what is said:

Is the iPhone in good condition?

Answer yes if all of the following apply:

  • It turns on and functions normally
  • All the buttons work
  • The cameras work
  • The body is free of dents and scratches
  • The touchscreen and back glass are undamaged

Since they would offer the maximum trade if the body is free of dents and scratches, it would make sense they won't if there are scratches on the body of the phone.
