Did one new phone no problem , the other two have same apple ID . don't want to end up same exact data on both phones
No, there won't be a charge. But honestly, doing the setup of a new phone from the backup of an older phone is super simple and would not require a visit to the Genius Bar.

How long do you think it would take 2.000 photos . I transferred data from my daughter's old to new, very easy and fast.
But in the case with our very old 4s phones when apple set them up fro us 7 yrs ago they gave us the same apple Id

Also, the time required to restore can take a while if you have a lot of apps and data.

I didn't quite get that part about not wanting the same data on both devices. Perhaps the OP has a unique need?
