Ipad dispay, Native portait mode aps (instagram, tinder, etc.) unable to display in landscape

I understand the limitations of displaying in portait mode only for these aps. My question is why isn’t there an option to view a portrait mode ap while the ipad is in landscape? Meaning the app stays in portrait mode, but the ipad orientation is landscape. These app’s already apply a giant virtual bezzle when in portrait mode on an ipad. It seems silly you couldn’t just allow it to rotate to have a large bezzle on either side but be viewed on an ipad that is in landscape orientation. It is super annoying and clunky that I am forced to rotate to view the app in portrait orientation on an ipad pro. I have been using ipad pro larger size the last 3 years and I just only view these apps on my phone because it is so lame on my ipad to turn a pro size tablet to use in portrait mode. It just surprises me that in all that time there has not been a workaround developed for this. You guys are Apple!!
