How to delete recent calls on apple watch 4

On your iPhone, in the Phone app, go to: Recents (tab) > at the top of the page, select the All tab > tap Edit (upper-right) > tap Clear (upper-left).

The calls have to be cleared from your iPhone.

It did not delete 6 calls made last fri. Deleted all other calls

Was told in a forum watch had to be on to clear calls so perhaps last fri i didnt have watch on and cleared the calls from the iphone. So problem still not solved as have those 6 fri calls on apple watch
