I had rented a movie from iTunes Store, it’s now in TV app. I have an iPad (6th Generation), a Sony TV & Google Chromecast, I want to cast this rented movie from my iPad to my Sony TV, I can’t find suitable app to cast iPad screen to my Sony TV, any solutions? Thanks in advance.

And, another possibility to simply mirror your iPad's screen to a TV:
You need a lightning to HDMI adapter and an HDMI cable: plug that into your TV, connect it with the adapter to your iPad, and choose the correct input on the TV: you will now see your iPad's screen on your TV. I do that frequently; however, I do not know if/how it would work with purchased movies since I have never bought or rented anything from iTunes.

Purchase the genuine Apple Lightning to Digital AV adapter from an Actual Apple Store or Apple online store here.
DO NOT purchase anywhere else because these might be Chinese Apple counterfeit adapters that may not work, at all or fail very early after purchase.

Man, thanks for the info 😄 but I prefer 1st hand TV rather than 2nd hand TV but an Apple Multiport Adapter suits me more at this stage as my Sony TV is not totally spoilt yet. I already have a plan to purchase it from Challenger (pls see attached photo)

Chromecast is a Google product which requires developers of iPad applications to explicitly support Chromecast. Apple does not support Chromecast in iPad’s screen mirroring nor do they support Chromecast in the Apple TV application on iPad (which is where your rented movie resides). There is no way to view iTunes Store content on your Apple TV through a Chromecast. If you wish to have this functionality then you will need to purchase an Apple TV.
Hi, if you have a Sony Android TV then there are several Apps available on the TV like AirScreen. However I found them to be really flakey and decided to buy a refurbished Apple TV, highly recommended.

I thought you said you had a 6th generation? That has a lightning port, not a USB C port. You need a lightning to hdmi adapter:

Yes, I have a 6th generation iPad, so many types of adapters no wonder I ‘m confused 😂 You are right, the Apple Multiport Adapter doesn’t support 6th generation iPad, it just slipped my mind, lucky you reminded me, thanks man. Ok, I got it Lightning, Lightning, Lightning.
It is really annoying when I'm answering questions on my iPad because I can't find a way to post a link - when I googled for the adapter, it automatically switched me from my browser (Safari) to the Apple store app - there is no URL within the store pages to link to. So I had to link to my Google search.
Buy an TV and stream from your iPad.
