Thunderbolt cables

I am trying to connect my mid 2011 iMac to a 2019 iMac. The older one has Thunderbolt ports and the newer one has Thunderbolt 3 ports. Which cables do I need? Is the Thunderbolt to Thunderbolt 3 cable long enough to connect the two? Do I need to by an adapter and a cable?

Yes, you need both the Thunderbolt adapter and a Thunderbolt (not Thunderbolt 3) cable.

Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2 Adapter - Apple

Apple Thunderbolt Cable (2.0 m) - White - Apple
