auto-shrink text option disappeared: how to restore?

Hi everyone,

My auto-shrink text selection option has disappearted from formatting options, and some of my text boxes are auto-shrinking text and I want to stop this. What happened to this option? I saw another user said they also lost this option and then it reappeared. Any ideas?

Pages default object arrangement I really find the default "Automatic" text wrap setting completely annoying when working with objects. With every import of text or objects, I have to go into the Format/Arrange/Text Wrap setting to change "Automatic" to "None." Why is Automatic the default? Is there any way to change the default setting for those of us working with several objects?

I accidentally pulled markup ruler below the menu, how do I get it back? I was editing a photo in markup and accidentally pulled the ruler option below the menu on the bottom. When I tap the ruler it goes away and comes back, but there is too little for me to grab to bring back up. I have reset the markup option several times with different pictures to no avail, they all place the ruler below the menu.

Shrink Text to Fit feature is available when using the preset text boxes in the Inspector slide layout:
