When you setup your iPad for the 1st time, you will be prompted to create a Passcode, pls watch this YouTube Tutorial Video for your reference: https://youtu.be/izT03L62HWI
But don’t worry, in this case you can restore your iPad to factory settings and setup your iPad again. Pls refer to this link to restore your iPad to factory settings: https://support.apple.com/en-sg/HT201252
After restore to factory settings & setup of your iPad, it’s recommended for you to make a backup of your iPad using iCloud or iTunes, pls refer to this link: https://support.apple.com/en-sg/HT203977
