Battery icon messed up on 2018 MacBook Pro
I have a 2018 MacBook Pro. A couple days ago I realized that my charging icon was different. Normally, when it is charging, it has the lightening bolt on it. Now, it has it all the time. I had just updated it so I assumed it was a change in the system and didn't think much of it. Last night, I was trying to see if a new charger that I had bought was working for it, and I was noticing some weird things. For one, I'm wondering if a couple of my ports are not working correctly. Two, when I plugged in my old/good charger into a specific port and jiggled it a little bit, the charging icon would stop being filled in white, and then go back to being filled in again. Also, it doesn't seem to have the right charge shown. I just now was looking things up online and trying to fix everything so I shut it down. When it restarted, it showed the battery at 96%, without the charging icon on the sign in front page. But, when I logged in, it went back to having the lightening bolt and it changed to 100%. This laptop is only a little over a year old so this is quite frustrating to be having these problems, especially as a college student. Hope you can help. Thanks!
