My series 4 watch will not track elevation gain when I'm working out mainly hiking and cycling - I've tried everything and have read all threads and cannot figure out why it won't track elevation. Key measure when cycling.

I have the same problem but mine only disappeared with the new update. My location services are turned on and I have rebooted the watch several times with no change. I use my watch to track my workouts all the time so it’s very frustrating to have something that used to be there be absolutely gone now with no known recourse. I just keep hoping it will be fixed with an update. Glad to see I’m not alone and hope that they’ll rectify it soon.
