Family sharing

To share purchased content, you need to turn on Share My Purchases and use the iTunes Store in the same country or region as your family members.

This is an incomplete answer. I'm head of family; rest of family is in Jamaica, and my kid there needs to share my expanded iCloud memory. We're having trouble making THAT work. So will someone please address the larger question, if you would?
