Try a reboot:
Tap and quickly release volume up button
Tap and quickly release volume down button
Then press and keep holding the power button (keep holding past the swipe to power off) until the Apple Logo appears, then let go

Take it to an authorized Apple repair location.
Did you recently drop the device or get is wet?
Did you try to reboot as I suggested?
Sometimes, something get's stuck and simple reboot usually cures odd little things. I honestly didn't think your 3 month old phone was permanently bricked. Glad this solved it for you.
I reboot all my iOS devices immediately after every iOS update. I recommend you do so as well.
No. I put it on my wireless charger [er usual. woke up - dead. Nerver wet nor dropped. Only about 3 month old
