Battery replacement iphone 6s plus

I have a very particular case. I currently reside in Honduras, a few years back I bought my iPhone 6S Plus with serial number F2***RX1, in the United States. I went to one of your authorized partners in Honduras (iShop located in Tegucigalpa, Honduras) as I wanted to replace my iPhone battery. However, the authorized partner here said that since the phone was purchased in the US and not in Honduras, and based on the model number A1634, they were not allowed to make the replacement, only in US, Brazil or Argentina. Please let me know what options I have so that I can replace my iPhone battery, preferably from your authorized partners here in Honduras.

This is the risk you take when you purchase a phone in a country you don't live.

If you know someone in one of the countries you were told to get the phone serviced, send it to them and ask them to get it replaced and send the phone back to you.

By the way. This is not Apple. This is a user only forum. Your serial number means nothing, but you should never post personal information. To protect you, I have asked the forum hosts to remove the serial number.
