I already have a MacBook with the profiles of my wife and I on it as users. I am thinking of buying a MacBook for the children and would want to have my profile on it as administrator along with their profiles. Is it possible to do this without all the files associated with my profile automatically downloading from iCloud onto the new Mac? Thanks.
You can do that by creating an admin account on the new computer. Before you sign into System Preferences/iCloud, make sure all items are not checked so no data will sync to the computer. Then sign in.
