Green Line Iphone X

As with the 1579 other people that responded on the locked thread I have the Green Line running down the left side of my screen. he phone went thru an update to 12.4* a few weeks ago and the propblem popped up with the reboot after update.

Genius bar says I must have submerged the phone and after a call to corporate and searching their database that APPLE as a whole has never heard of this problem.

Phone was purchased in 12/19 its currently 9/2019 and my serial number search states the warranty period has expired when searched on the apple site.

I assume I am just SOL and should this $1k piece of plunder in the trash, any simple and affordable fi available?

purchased 12-2018 phone died 9-2019 I guess 9 months of usefulness is acceptable, right?

Perhaps this is a Faulty Device?:

It’s been less than a heat. You have a one year limited warranty from the Manufacturer: Apple

So, start by contacting Apple***, and request that a Genius Bar Appointment be Reserved. You would take this to your Local Apple Store, during which the battery and all other necessities would be looked at.

Rather than troubleshoot this, have Apple look into it. In the mean time, just let the device sit in a safe non.active location. Perhaps the battery went dead.
