Hi there- I have an iPhone X that financed from T mobile, now the phone is mine, fully paid off and unlocked by The carrier and I am looking to switch to AT&T.
I want to keep my iPhone as it is perfect shape and I can save some $ on monthly installments
Wanted to check if the T Mobile phone would be fully compatible with the ATT network. I’m guessing it is the exact same device regardless of the carrier

You should have no issues moving over to AT&T. You need to make sure you are actually fully unlocked (just paying off a phone, doesn't mean it unlocks, without requesting an unlock from T-Mobile.
Then you work with AT&T to port your number over to them from T-Mobile and set up service there.

Then Waltz on over to AT&T. I've been very happy with AT&T service, myself. But then I've been with them since 1995 and other than the name change to Cingular, then back to AT&T, it's only been them I've been with.
